We are two days away from the Israeli elections.....probably the most critical elections that have ever been held. Here are a few of my thoughts on this event.
The Labor/Tanuah party led by Buji Hertzog and Tzipi Livni has renamed itself 'The Zionist Party". The deception of naming their party this, when it stands for everything that is not Zionist, is breathtakingly twisted.
Their campaign has been organized and run by Barak Obama's own campaign people. The central theme of their campaign is "change'....which, as we all know, was the magic word Obama sailed on into the presidential office of the United States of America. He has indeed brought change. I say this most dryly!!
Will the Israelis, understandably tired of many of the Netanyahu/Likud's governments actions, like housing prices that have risen almost 100 percent in five years or the releasing of 100s of terrorist murderers for nothing, for example, vote for an Obama style change and follow the American example?
Will this election produce the brilliant Israeli leader who will make a covenant with the anti christ that will last for three and one half years?
As I consider these things, my prayers to the Holy God of Israel are simple. "Lord have mercy on you poor, sinful people who do not know their right hand from their left. Have mercy on us, and because you are the God of Israel, do not give us what we deserve."
