Op-Ed: Israel's Worst Enemy? The United Nations

Did you know Israel is as bad as Boko Haram when it comes to harming youngsters? and worse than Saudi Arabia as far as women's rights go? Ask the UN.

In which official document could the only army in the world with a clause providing for disobeying an inhumane order, Israel’s Defence Forces, be compared to bands of Islamic terrorists who crucify children, bury them alive and use them as suicide bombers?
That's a no-brainer. At the United Nations, of course.
The UN envoy for Children and Armed Conflict, Leila Zerrougui, is sponsoring the inclusion of the Israeli army in the black list of countries and organizations that regularly harm children. In this list you can find al Qaeda, the Nigerian Boko Haram, the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, the Taliban, and countries such as Congo and the Central African Republic, infamous for their armies of young children who may never become older.
The Netanyahu government condemned this attempt to put Israel in the same list as “lepers' organizations and countries”. This is how the Jewish State, in the eyes of Western public opinion, is beginning to be perceived as an infanticide state. Thanks to the dossier of the UN, Israel’s biggest enemy.
Two other resolutions against Jerusalem have been approved at the UN in the last few weeks. The Commission on the Status of Women condemned Israel as the world’s worst violator of the rights of women. Not Syria, where government forces are using rape as a tactic of war or the Islamic State that enslaves women of religious minorities. Not Saudi Arabia, where women are physically punished if they do not wear orthodox clothing. Not Iran, where adultery is punishable by death by stoning.
There is more.  Israel was condemned, by a vote of 104 to 4 at the Human Rights Council in Geneva, as the only country in the world that violates health rights, although it is the only state in the world that heals its enemies (from the Golan to Gaza and Ramallah) and that sent aid to Nepal during the earthquake.
The United Nations 2014 Equator Prize has been awarded to the Palestinian Union of Agricultural Work Committees, which is closely affiliated to the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, the terrorist group which spawned the Fogel’s massacre.
In the Orwellian world of the United Nations, right becomes wrong and friends are treated as enemies.
If the UN would be asked to vote today and not in 1948, Israel have never been created.
